Shine A Light – The Rolling Stones Concert Film

20th July 2024
6:00PM

Part of Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival 2024

About this event

Experience the Rolling Stones as never before…on Birmingham’s biggest screen!

Discover the live power of the Rolling Stones, through the eyes of visionary director Martin Scorsese. Shine A Light captures the band’s blistering sets from New York in 2006, intercut with backstage footage, special guests, archive clips, and new interviews with the band. It’s a must-see movie for music AND film lovers everywhere.

Before the screening, Jimmy Regal & The Royals will be making their must-see Millennium Point debut with a free performance in our bar. After their smash-hit break-through album landed in the UK Top 20 in 2019, the acclaimed three-piece have seen their subsequent three albums all enter the Top 10. Over in the US, they’ve stormed the Contemporary Blues charts. The much-loved live act has also played alongside Grammy Award-winner Cedric Burnside and the legendary B.B. King Band.

Join us from 6pm for this unmissable night of music as part of the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival’s 40th Birthday celebrations.
