Free Summer Bootcamp
Announcing a new free Summer Bootcamp for 11 to 14 year-olds in Birmingham! 3-day placements available from 30th July to 22nd August.
About this event
Taking place at Millennium Point, and delivered by experienced employment pathways experts Digital Innovators, the Summer Bootcamp will take an exciting approach to unlocking potential. Via fun activities and workshops, students will build their experience and knowledge.
Students will learn valuable skills in communication, collaboration and critical thinking, ready to use in their educational life and future career. There will be interactive challenges, teamwork, and the opportunity to present ideas to industry experts and gain valuable feedback. There will also be an incredible opportunity to enjoy mentoring from Severn Trent team members, and to work with them on real-life projects.
The placements will last for 3-days from Tuesday to Thursday, with each day starting at 9.30am and ending at 4pm. There will be four placements to choose from:
30th July – 1st August
6th – 8th August
13th – 15th August
20th – 22nd August
This employability skills programme is run by the Millennium Point Trust and Severn Trent, and supported by Precision Health Technologies Accelerator.

Millennium Point is in the Eastside of Birmingham City Centre just 5-minutes walk from Moor Street and 15-minutes from Grand Central and the tram. There is also limited parking on-site which means we’re easy to find regardless of how you travel. For more information please click here.
