For the first time ever, the PA Forum will be hosting its inaugural Midlands VA Conference on Wednesday 5th June 2024, alongside it’s L&D Conference which is now in its 7th year and is one of the most economical conferences outside of London for business support professionals.

A full day, in-person event, filled with inspirational, aspirational, and educational keynotes, sessions, and seminars from a lineup of well-known and established VAs, trainers and influencers from the VA industry and content that will support VAs at all points in their career – from those thinking about stepping into the VA world or in the early days of their business, right through to experienced VAs and business owners.

It’s Compassionate Mind Foundation’s 13th-anniversary conference and they’ll be exploring ‘Compassion and the Harmful Mind’, bringing together speakers and presenters who represent the wonderful community of compassion focused approaches to health and wellbeing.

The format of the session is presentation, q and a and talks in the auditorium for 1 hour. Followed by the opportunity for the students to meet and talk to local employers recruiting apprentices for September 2024.

Students will gain a real understanding of the Apprenticeship opportunities and pathways available in this sector.

This event is suitable for students in Year 10 and above who have an interest in a career in Manufacturing and Engineering.

The cost of domestic abuse was estimated to be approximately £66bn for victims of domestic abuse in England and Wales for the year ending March 2017.  This hasn’t decreased and following the pandemic, and in the midst of a cost of living crisis, workplaces are continuing to be vital safe havens for many.  By everyone becoming better informed about domestic abuse we are helping to protect all victims and survivors.
