Power, lots of power
Unsurprisingly, one of the key requirements for an esports tournament is a stable and robust power system. Millennium Point is home to several tech-heavy events including hackathons, esports tournaments, podcasting conventions and live performances. We’ve invested heavily in our power infrastructure which can support an abundance of PCs and consoles, AV equipment and peripherals.
Technology and a Tech-Savvy team
Millennium Point’s spaces Connect, Platform and Auditorium are all equipped with AV built-in. Additional staging and tech can also be hired in through our trusted suppliers if you don’t have your own. We have an onsite dedicated AV team, tech-savvy (obviously) experienced in delivering tech-heavy events who will be on-site to support your team and ensure seamless integration and stability throughout the event.
Super-fast Connectivity
Millennium Point has super-fast internet in all of our spaces with a mix of private and public networks to ensure no packet loss, and to provide dedicated connections for your operations team and athletes, while fans and exhibitors can enjoy the robust public wifi for their own needs. As we mentioned, we host many tech-focused events including hackathons and esports tournaments so our networks are tested and robust.
Live Video Streaming
Millennium Point has recently launched our own dedicated live video streaming service bolt-on. This service allows you to manage social distancing and maximise your online audience with HD video streaming hosted on our website. Your audience will have exclusive access to the stream which means you will have a dedicated platform should you want to level up your tournament with exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes spotlights or interactive elements, in addition to public streaming on platforms such as Twitch, Youtube and Facebook Gaming.
